Are we havin' any fun? Mercer Island Half Marathon 2007

Here's a group photo from last Sunday's Mercer Island Half Marathon. Here we are, pre-race standing in the rain and as Mike said, "this is the photo before the PAIN".

"I finished, that is all I can say...." We all (except Mike)had a bit of a rough day (including our Boston Marathoner).

"you got lost? How lost?....OPPS"

"I made a new friend"..."we walked the last 2 miles together"

"yes, of course I want a second Bloody Mary"

In the end, we all had fun, the course was beautiful and the post-race gathering was FUN! The downside is I hurt my knee and am headed for physical therapy. Nothing to tragic...just an IT band issue. Hey, maybe I should have taken my training seriously...
