Is it November yet?

I don't think I can wait for November!

Thierry Mugler’s Innocent Airy Cloud powder puff available in November
PRICE: $35

For those of you who know me, you know how much I adore Angel. I am not sure what it is, but I get complements none stop when I have it on. Often times I am only wearing the body lotion or body oil. Love, Love, Love this stuff!

DiorSkin AirFlash

A miracle in a spray can!! I'm not a huge fan of foundation or chalky looking powder, so I thought I would give the revolutionary DiorSkin AirFlash a try. Love it!!

A quick spray and you're on your way! Instantly, you'll feel an airy-light, fresh sensation on the skin. With a single mist, your skin will appear perfectly even - fine lines seem to disappear. The result? A soft, radiant airbrush perfection that lasts all day.

Oh, and while you are it, you might want to try DiorShow Mascara. Never clumpy, always sexy

Motivation

Over the past couple of weeks I've made some discoveries about what motivates me. I completed my first Tri last summer and swore that I would NEVER do it again. Well, I completed my second Tri in July and my third this past weekend. Why? Because I want to challenge and improve myself. What motivates me to get out of bed when the alarm sounds at 5:00 am? Do you know what motivates you? I'm not just talking about motivation for training. What motivates you to live? What motivates you to go to work? What drives you to get up in the morning and get into your car to start yet another day? The answer for me is happiness.

Happiness is helping people close to me and watching them grow and strengthen. Happiness is not defined in my mind as something you can have in your hand, but a state of complete calm that you are doing the best you can to make the small space around you pleasant.

What motivates you?

what's your excuse...

for not getting out of bed for your morning workout? Ok, I have to confess, I consciously decided last night that I was NOT going to get out of bed for my morning workout. Why? Well, I have a lot of great excuses....

1. I have been doing a lot of running and my illiotibial band and shins are hurting
2. I'm tired
3. I didn't feel like packing my workout bag
4. I had my hair colored yesterday and I didn't want to ruin my fab blowout!

Boot Camp: Part II

Today in "Boot Camp", we took a PFT aka physical fitness test! Apparently, it is the same test the Marines give their recruits -- timed 2 mile run, sit-ups (the real ones), push-ups (yeah, even the girls had to do them from their toes) and arm hangs. All this at 6:00 AM-- charming! We find out next week which "company" we will be part of during our 8 weeks together. The companies are broken into three levels; alpha, beta, charlie -- geesh, I hope I am a beta, I am too competitive to be on the bottom of the heap.

When rolling out of bed at 5:00 am to workout I try to remind myself why I am inflicting torture upon myself...Bikini wearing season, 7 jeans and oh yeah, the half marathon!

Adult P.E. aka Boot Camp

I am committed, I signed up yesterday for the Nike Women's Marathon -- Let the training begin. To kick off my 12 week training program, I thought it might be beneficial to take the Pro Clubs Boot Camp class, which is taught by a Marine Corp Candidate School trained instructor. Well, today was day one and OMG it is going to be tough. Interestingly enough, I heard today was one of the "easier" classes. Hummm, the class was 90 mins (all outside) and we ran about 5 miles in total and did all sorts of fun exercise...push ups, jumping jacks, mountain climbers, lunges etc.
