Here's a group photo from last Sunday's Mercer Island Half Marathon. Here we are, pre-race standing in the rain and as Mike said, "this is the photo before the PAIN".

In the end, we all had fun, the course was beautiful and the post-race gathering was FUN! The downside is I hurt my knee and am headed for physical therapy. Nothing to tragic...just an IT band issue. Hey, maybe I should have taken my training seriously...

Nike Women's Half Marathon...#3

Yesterday morning, Nike annouced a "pre-registration" for past Nike Women's Marathon runners. The pre-registration was supposed to be open for 26.2 hours and then the registration would open up the general public. Thankfully, I was able register...It took me 30 mins and ten tries, but I got my confirmation. Any way, the Half Marathon registration was never opened up to the general public, because it SOLD OUT! OMG! Crazy. Any way, today, Nike announced a random drawing -The drawing will close on April 2, 2007. The entries will be chosen at random and announced on April 9th, 2007. Good luck!
